ActionAid Ethiopia is a gender justice and poverty eradication organization working to achieve gender equality and poverty eradication. In Ethiopia, AAE works to challenge various forms of power and build capacities to crate people agencies of critical mass of communities especially women and girls living in poverty and exclusion to fulfill their rights, ensure redistribution of resources and build their resilience. We priorities to work with women and girls and their organizations, networks civil society organizations, national and local government and other allies to overcome gender injustice and structural causes of poverty, we engage in national level policy works to influence the agendas of women and girls to tackle gender injustice.

ActionAid Ethiopia, Addis Ababa Office through 2024 Denmark's Collection (DTV) Project has allocated budget for Besale Small Scale Irrigation Scheme Construction project, located at Raya Azebo Woreda, Southern Zone of Tigray Regional State Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by Bid security of ETB 150,000 (One Hundred Fifty thousand) CPO only and shall be delivered to ActionAid Ethiopia Addis Ababa Office on submission of tender document on the 14th day from the first day of the announcement of this bid at or before 2:00 PM (bid closing time).

Thus, ActionAid Ethiopia invites all eligible contractors with GC or WWC Grade 5 and above who has a license valid for the current year and Registration certificate for VAT & trade License

Bid Requirements:

1. ActionAid Ethiopia (hereafter referred to as "the Organization') now invites wax- sealed bids from interested eligible bidders for the constructions described above.
2. Complete sets of the bidding documents may be accessed at ActionAid Ethiopia Addis Ababa Office, Yeka Sub-city, Woreda 11, H/N 3044 (Opposite Gast Cinema, Behind CMC/Altad St. Michael Church) upon request starting from 1st day of the announcement.
3. Eligible Bidders can collect bid documents and must clearly indicate which Bid they are Competing.
4. Those Contractors who have active construction agreement with ActionAid Ethiopia are allowed to participate in this bid, if only their accomplishment is confirmed to be 60% and above.
5. Bidders should attach their VAT registration and TIN Number registration certificate.
6. The date for submission of the tender document is on the 10th day from the first day of the announcement of this bid at Addis Zemen Newspaper at or before 2:00 PM (bid closing time).
7. Bidders must provide complete set of technical and financial documents "Original" and "Copy" in a separately sealed envelope with one copy for each and CPO shall be sealed separately and incorporated in the original envelope.
8. Bid opening date will be on the same day of bid closing at 2:30 P.M in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at ActionAid Ethiopia Addis Ababa office. If there is public holiday on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and venue.

10. The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
11. The winning Bidder is required to comply with ActionAid Ethiopia's Indemnity requirements, SHEA and Safeguarding Policies and anti-fraud disclaimer up on which this will be delivered to the contractor together with the Award Letter and must be filled and returned back with Performance Bond. If the Contractor fails to do this, the award will be cancelled automatically.
