INVITATION TO THE BIDDERS

ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 1

Direct Aid Ethiopia is an international NGO engaged in assisting the developmental strategies and policies through uplifting the living condition of the rural/urban people who are in need of immediate support. Hence, its major involvement areas include: Education, Social, Emergency Relief, Health and water well.

In line with this, we are setting up emergency relief program for the year 2024/5 to address the call of The Ethiopian government to support the neediest community.

Thus, Direct Aid Ethiopia office announces to competitive bidders who could provide emergency food items to drought, flood and landslide affected and displaced citizens in different regions of the country.

Requirements: -

1. Bidders must be in a similar project experience 3 years prior to the bidding process
2. All bidders must provide license from Federal food and drug control authority.
3. All bids should be submitted in wax seals & stamp envelops to the address below on or before 4 consecutive working days of the first announcement of this invitation. 4. Late bids shall not be accepted and return unopened.
5. The bidder shall submit renewed license, VAT registration, TIN number, tax clearance certificate, technical & financial proposal and supplier registration certificate.
6. Bidders shall submit financial offer original & copy in the separate envelop each having written "original" "&"copy".
7. Bid document shall be accompanied by a "bid security" equivalent amount of CPO of birr not less than 2% of the total amount.
8. If the organization has got another better option, we are not in obligation to the tendering process and the bidding might be partially or fully cancelled.
