2 Urban Water Supply & Sanitation Project Loan/credit/TF No. IDA-60070 and project ID P156433 Procurement of Electromechanical equipment (#8 Submersible Pump) for the

Improvement of the Existing Water Supply System Contract Identification No: ET-MOWIE-475869-GO-RFB.

1. The Harari Water Supply & Sewerage authority has received for financing from World Bank to toward the cost of the 2 Urban Water supply & Sanitation project II, and intends to apply part of the proceeds to ward payments under the contract for Procurement of Electromechanical equipment (#8 Submersible Pump) for the Improvement of the Existing Water Supply System.
2. The Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders and qualified contract for the supply of Electromechanical equipment (#8 Submersible Pump). The delivery periods within 90 days.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers of January 2011 Revised July 2014 ("Procurement Guidelines"). and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 11.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtam further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours (from 08:00 AM to 12:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM)
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address given below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee ETB 1,500,00 (One Hundred Thousand Five Hundred Birr only). The method of payment will be in cash. Bidders are requested to attach with their application, a copy of their renewed trade licenses, VAT certificate, Tax clearance and TIN certificate for local supplier
6. Bids must be delivered to the address given below before on 30 (Thirty) Consecutive calendar days starting from 1" announcement day on or before 10:00 AM at closing date. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders or their designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10:30 AM of closing date.

7. The amount of the Bid security shall be ETB birr 300,000.00 in an acceptable form of Unconditional Bank Guaranty or CPO from a reputable bank (with Exception of Lion Bank S.C) and must be addressed to Harari/P/R/State Water Supply and

Sewerage Authority (use the form in the bidding document).

8. The Authority reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
