The Ethiopian Orthodox Church Development and Inter Church Aid Commission (EOC-DICAC) invites all interested eligible bidders to participate in this tender by fulfilling the following requirements.
RE-ADVERTISEMNT FOR INVITATION TO BID
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church Development and Inter Church Aid Commission (EOC-DICAC) wants to purchase 250 pcs of 2m³ & 40 pcs 1m³ in total 290 (two hundred ninety) pcs of Gabion boxes from eligible bidders who have certificate for the supply of Gabion boxes from well recognized third party.
Therefore, EOC-DICAC invites all interested eligible bidders to participate in this tender by fulfilling the following requirements.
- The gabion boxes should have the listed material and mesh qualities, and assembly and installation.
- The wire material: Galvanized steel or coated with zinc aluminum alloy to resist corrosion. Ibid if
- The diameter or thickness of the wire should be 3mm-4mm.
- Corrosion resistance: Essential for longevity, especially in wet season or saline environments,
- Openings of the gabion boxes should be retain stones but large enough to drain small enough to
- Reinforcements: Diaphragms (internal partitions) every 1 meter to prevent bulging.
- Lacing wire: For securely connecting panels and adjacent boxes.
- Easy to assemble on the site.
- Should be foldable for transport.
- Bidders should have renewed license for supplying gabions for the current year, registration certificate, VAT, TIN number.
- Bidders shall submit quality assurance certificate from eligible organization
- Bidders should submit the original and copy of their price quotation and all relevant credentials including but not limited to the copy of renewed license for the current year, registration certificate, VAT, TIN number and along with the bid bond of 2% of the total price quotation in the form of certified cheque (CPO). CPO is mandatory but other documents are not acceptable.
- Bidders should sign on all pages of the bid document, stamp on it and wax sealed for both the original and copy.
- All bidders who fulfill the above should submit bid scled documents to EOC-DICAC head office, 2nd floor in the bid box designated for this purpose at the address mentioned below, on or before the 7th calendar day up to 2:00 PM starting from the date of this announcement.
Bids shall be opened on the tenth calendar day of this advertisement at 2:30 PM at EOC-DICAC head office meeting hall in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives to attend the bid opening ceremony. If the 7th day is not a working day, the bid will be closed on the next working day at 2:00 PM and will be opened on the same day at 2:30PM.
EOC-DICAC has the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
