Islamic relief worldwide (IRW) is an independent humanitarian and established in Birmingham, UK in 1984. with a development organization presence in over 40 countries around the globe, IRW has been responding to humanitarian needs and fighting poverty for over the last 39 years. similarly, it has been operating in Ethiopia since 2004 in addis ababa city, somali, and afar national regional states.
Given this,IR Ethiopia (IRE) intends to install 5ha drip irrigation schemes in the afar region, zone-4 of EWA of Buti site and Gulina of Belgi site. hereby ire wants to identify a potential contractor that can precisely perform the required drip irrigation system installation service for the above-captioned two afar sites.
- The Islamic relief (IR) now invites all eligible contractors registered and licensed under the category of wwc. grade 4 and above by relevant government authorities for 2017 e.c to undertake the construction and installation works in afar region, zone-4 of Ewa of buti Site and Gulina of Belgi site.
- a complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the Islamic relief Ethiopia (IRE), upon payment of a non-refundable fee of birr 400.00.
- bidders shall provide evidence satisfactory to IRE including performance of a minimum 3 years' experience, personnel schedule, and work methodology and schedule:
- all bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount in cpo or unconditional bank guarantee, the bid security shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity of the bid;
- interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address below
- wax-sealed envelopes containing separate envelope sealed and marked "bid security," "original" and "copy" of financial document"
- bids must be delivered to ir Ethiopia before 26th may 2025 at 10:00 am. bid will be closed same date at 10:00 am local time and be opened on the same date at 10:30 am.
- IREreserves the right to reject any or all offers without giving reason for doing so.
