INVITATION TO BID 

The Ethiopian red cross Society Oromia Office invites eligible and qualified contractors of category of GC-6,BC-6 and above who have trade license and registration certificate valid for year 2018 E.C and eligible for the work Interested bidders submit sealed bid providing necessary material, labor and equipment to execute construction of gender segregated and disability friendly institutional latrines with hand washing facilities, Menstrual hygiene management room and health center renovation in Oromia Regional. The total numbers of sites are 8 and the bidders can buy all bids but submit a bid for any only one (bid), except lot-3 and Lot-4 

1. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document paying a non-refundable ETB 1000 (One thousand Birr) for each lot from ERCS, Oromia National Regional Office Tel 011 440 5983 located at Saris -Adey Ababa (Addis Ababa) and from zones branches at Adama, Shashemene and Negele Borana town offices.
2. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society, Oromia National Regional Branch along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable forms (CPO ONLY) SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The CPO should be valid for 28 days after bid validity.
3. Bidders advise to submit Financial and Technical in separate wax sealed envelopes label as ORIGINAL & COPY (Original Technical, Copy Technical, Original Financial, and Copy Financial all in separate wax sealed envelopes.). Also bid bond (bid security) by its separate wax sealed envelope. Finally sealed in one mother post.
4. Bidders are advised to read the bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bid document.
5. You can visit the site envisaged for the construction and acquire necessary reconnaissance.
6. Failure to comply with the conditions from no.2 to 5 above may result in an automatic rejection.
7. Bid will close on the 15th calendar days of after the announcement of this bid in the newspapers (Ethiopian Herald) at 2:00pm and open on the same date at 2:30 pm, ERCS, Oromia National Regional Brach, located at Saris -Adey Ababa (Addis Ababa) and if the date is a holiday (not working day) on the next working date at 10:00AM.
8. ERCS, Oromia National Regional Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without fixing any reason thereof.
