INVITATION FOR NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Procurement.

Since 1994, JSI Ethiopia has partnered with the Ministry of Health, local organizations, universities, and the private sector to improve the health of over 70 million people nationwide. Our initial focus on reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health has expanded to include more than 65 projects. These projects prioritize improving the quality of primary healthcare, supply chain management, and the complete digitization of the health sector.
JSI hereby invites sealed bids from eligible and duly registered suppliers in accordance with the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures, for the supply and delivery of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) materials and related procurement requirements.
- Suppliers wishing to participate in this bid must possess a valid business license and be registered with the tax authority.
- The bidding documents may be collected by interested and eligible suppliers from the JSI office. At the time of collection and bid submission, bidders are required to present:
- A renewed Trade License for the year 2017/18 E.C.
- A valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- A VAT Registration Certificate
- A Taxpayer Identification Certificate (TIN)
- This Invitation for Bids is open to all suppliers who meet the above requirements. Bid evaluation and award will be conducted in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ is prepared in English.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below or deposited in the Tender Box located at the JSI Country Office no later than October 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM (local time).
- All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the total bid price, in the form of a Certified Payment Order (CPO) or an unconditional Bank Guarantee, issued in the name of JSI Research & Training Institute Inc.
- JSI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, without assigning any reason.
