World Vision International Ethiopia (WVIE) is an International Humanitarian Christian Organization whose objective is to provide holistic and integrated development and emergency response programs in the country.
World Vision's work in Ethiopia contributes to the well-being of vulnerable children in partnership with the church, civil society and the government. Initiatives include education, food security, health, HIV and AIDS, water, sanitation, and hygiene, as well as sponsorship management. All programs are implemented with the goal of addressing the strategic and basic needs of children while supporting and building the capacity of families and communities.
World Vision International Ethiopia (WVIE) wants to pre-qualify potential companies for current fiscal year (FY'26) in the category of WWC and BC/GC who are interested working with World Vision International Ethiopia, at Afar Region by furnishing all the necessary labor, materials and equipment.
Companies are required to be in the category of Water Works Contractors of class-5 (Five) & above and BC/GC 6 and above registered and licensed by the ministry of Water.
Imigation and Electricity or other bureaus and construction bureau respectively who have mandate to give the license.
The license should be renewed and valid for the year 2018 EC.
The contractor should be well experienced and accomplished construction of Surface water works and BC/GC Projects at different location of the Country.

up to February 20, 2026. The prequalification bidding document (TOR) will be distributed to the bidders through e-mail filled in the form on February 21, 2026.

NB: This prequalification process not for existing contractors:
Existing prequalified contractors will be prequalified for FY26 based on their performance evaluation.
