Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Service (EPSS) Procurement of Clinical Chemistry Reagents

1. The Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Service (EPSS) invites all interested importers and wholesalers to participate through the national electronic government procurement (e-GP) system in the tender for "Procurement of Clinical chemistry reagents" issued under the National Competitive Bid (NCB) procurement method through multi-vender system (MVS)].
2. Multi-vender system (MVS)] is an arrangement where EPSS signs a general framework agreement on behalf of the public health institutions but the actual procurement of commodities managed by the Health facilities themselves. Please refer the detail conditions in the bid document.
3. The deadline for bid submission date is indicated in the e-GP system. The details on eligibility and other requirements for bidders are published in the bid document. both of which are available on the e-GP system.
4. Bidders who are interested to participate in the bidding process must be register on the e-GP system www.ppa.gov.et eGP portal. 5. The bid will be opened online, with bidders or their representatives participated virtually through the link which will be shared after the bid closing time but before bid opening time.
6. Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security 2% of total price of quoted items which shall not exceed ETB 2,000,000 (maximum amount) as indicated in the bid document. The bid security from insurance company will not be accepted.
7. The Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Service reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids, at any time prior to award of contract without there by incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders or any obligation to inform the affected bidder or bidders on the ground for the company's action.
NB: All bidders shall share their e-GP private key on a system before bid opening time.
