Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an Independent humanitarian and development organization established in Birmingham, UK in 1984. With presence in over 40 countries around the globe IRW has been responding to humanitarian needs and fighting poverty for over the last 40 years. Similarly, it has been operating in Ethiopia since 2004 in Addis Ababa City, Oromia, Somali and Afar National Regional States. As part of this,Islamic Relief Ethiopia is implementing seasonal projects in its operational areas.
1. The ISLAMIC RELIEF (IR) now invites all eligible suppliers having renewed business for 2018 E.C. TIN and VAT certificates to supply Qurbani Supplies (Male sheep and goats) for beneficiaries specified in tendering document and tendering guidelines.
2. A tendering document shall be collected by any interested eligible bidders upon payment of non- refundable fee of Birr 200.00 from Addis Ababa, Chiro offices, Jigjiga office and Afar semra office.
3. Bidders can purchase for any number of lots and shall submit bid only for one lot.
4. Local suppliers are highly encouraged.
5. Bidders should submit previous performance for at least three years in case they have participated in similar transaction.
6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of bid amount including VAT in CPO.
7. The qurbani animals are purchased per standard that indicated in tendering documents and transport to the required Kebele. Price shall include purchasing. transporting, loading and unloading.

9. Wax-sealed envelopes containing a separate envelope sealed and marked "Bid Security," "Technical and Financial Document;"
10. Bids must be delivered to IR Ethiopia offices before Monday 27 April 2026 at 10:30Am local time or Morning @4:30 Ethiopian time, bid will be closed at the same day 10:30Am local time or Morning @4:30 Ethiopian time and Bid will be open on the same date at 11:00Am.
11. Bids will be evaluated based on criteria specified in tendering documents.
12. ISLAMIC RELIEF ETHIOPIA (IRE) reserves the right to reject any or all offers without giving reason for doing SO.
