- The Government of Ethiopia-MoWSA, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Component-2-Response-Recovery-Resilience for Conflict Affected Communities in Ethiopia Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the “Establishment of safe house in Dessie town”, Amhara Regional state- Dessie City Administration Finance Department, Buanbuawuha subcity-3R-4CACE project.
- The Amhara Regional state Dessie City Administration Finance Department –Buanbuawuha sub city 3R-4CACE project now invites sealed Bids from Bc/GC Grade 4 and above Bidders for Dessie Safe House construction, location, construction period.
- Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement method using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Dessie City Administration Finance Department, Buanbuawuha subcity-3R-4CACE project, Attn: Tekleab Melaku-Procurement officer, Email: tekmak145@gmail.com, Amhara Regional state, Dessie city Administration, Finance Department, Dessie- Tel: 251-331118629,Ethiopia, and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08:30am to 5:30pm hours at the address given below Dessie city Administration, Finance Department, Procurement office, Room No.05.
- The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500.00. The method of payment will be in cash. The document will be obtained by hard copy in person.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below: Dessie city Adm.Finance Department, Procurement office, Room No.05. on or before August 15,2025,10;00am. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address Dessie city Administration, Finance Department- Procurement office, Room No.05. on August 15, 2025,10;30am
- All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of ETB 1,000,000.00(One Million Birr)
- All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration.
