Oxfam GB is a UK-based international humanitarian and development organization that has been working in Ethiopia since the 1960s. Oxfam GB is invites reliable, qualified, and competent suppliers to participate in a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the supply and delivery of one (1) 80 kVA diesel generator – Perkins or CAT brand.
The purpose of this advertisement is to identify reliable suppliers who can supply the specified Perkins or CAT brand generator in accordance with the required technical specifications and within the required delivery period.
Interested suppliers are invited to physically collect the RFQ document, detailed technical specifications, and other relevant documents from the Oxfam GB office at the address provided below.
RFQ and detailed specification collection starts:
Monday, 17 August 2026. Collection Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Submission deadline:
24 August 2026 at 4:30 PM
Suppliers are required to submit their technical and financial proposals/quotations on or before the above deadline, in accordance with the requirements specified in the RFQ documents.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Only suppliers who collect the RFQ documents and register their participation will be eligible to participate in the RFQ process.
- This RFQ is issued solely for the purpose of obtaining quotations for the supply of one (1) 80 kVA Perkins or CAT diesel generator in accordance with the requirements and specifications provided in the RFQ documents.
- The offered generator must comply fully with the required technical specifications and must be new, unused, and genuine.
- The supplier is responsible for ensuring that its offer is complete and fully meets Oxfam GB’s requirements.
- Suppliers are requested to carefully read the RFQ and specification documents and provide complete responses to all requirements and questions.
- Failure to comply with the requirements of the RFQ may result in the offer being rejected.
- Oxfam GB reserves the right not to enter into or award a contract as a result of this RFQ.
- Oxfam GB reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations in accordance with its procurement procedures.
- The successful supplier will be expected to enter into a formal contract and/or Purchase Order with Oxfam GB.
