African Center for Disaster Risk Management (ACDRM) is a public entity established in December 2012 to support the professionalization and technical capacity building of disaster risk management sector Ethiopia. The Center undertakes research, training and advising service to government and other institution The Center is housed within the Arat Kilo campus of Addis Ababa University.

ACDRM is seeking an external auditor to conduct an audit service for its fiscal year from 2018 to end 2013. Eligible and interested audit firms that fulfill the following requirements are invited to participate in this bid and submit their technical and financial proposal.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Auditor qualified with Grade B or above
• Supplies the audit firm’s complete company profile
• Business license renewed for the 2016 E.C. year

Registration certificate renewed for the 206 E.C. year by the Accounting and Audition Board of Ethiopia

• Valid VAT registration certificate
• Tax payer identification (TIN) registration certificate

Application Procedure:

Audit firms that meet above itemized eligibility criteria are requested to

• Visit the office of ACDRM to obtain the volume of work
• Submit, in person, separate written technical and financial proposal by close of business 12 February 2024.

Tender process:

• Only audit firms that satisfy the outlined criteria will be contacted to attend the bid opening
• The tenders will be opened by 16 February 2024 in the presence of those bidding audit firms or their representatives that meet that meet eligibility criteria
• The decision on the ranking and selection will be announced five working days after the bid opening date.
•   In the event that the selected audit firm is unable to take up the audit service, the next ranked audit firm will be selected
