CONSTRUCTION OF 4B+G+35 STORY NEW HEADQUARTERS BUILDING FOR AWASH INSURANCE AT ADDIS ABABA

1. Awash Insurance invites interested and eligible bidders for the construction of its new 48+G+35 Story Headquarters Building around the capital financial district adjacent to new Addis Ababa Police Lideta Sub City Police Department Building.

2. Awash Insurance invites sealed bids from Category 1 GC/BC eligible bidders that have License valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal year, (EFY, 2016), Trade License, valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal year (2016), VAT Registration Certificate, TIN Certificate and valid Tax Clearance Certificate for the provision of the construction of 4B+G+35 Story New Headquarter Building for Awash Insurance at Addis Ababa.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from the first date of the announcement on the newspaper at the address stated below at no. 8 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 3,000.00 (Three Thousand Birr only). The method of payment will be cash. At the time of purchase, bidder shall bring a copy of all eligibility documents listed above at no. 2.

5. The technical and financial proposals have to be separately prepared and sealed with all necessary copies as indicated in the instruction to bidders and the bid data sheet. Bid proposal must be delivered to Awash Insurance S.C., Awash Tower, 15th floor earlier than 2:00 PM on or before

6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 1,000,000.00 (One Million Birr) in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee.

7.Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address stated above on no. 5 at 2:30 PM on the same day of bid submission.
