1. The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Express way development Support of Component C Road Safety and Institutional Development Support Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Traffic Enforcement and Post-Crash Care Equipment.
2. The Ministry of Transport and Logistics now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of, Traffic Enforcement and Post-Crash Care Equipment.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers as January, 2011, revised July 2014 ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Office (PIU) and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 08:30 A.M to 12:30 PM noon and from 01:30 PMto 05:30 P.M afternoon from Monday to Thursday and from 08:30 A.M.to 11:30 AM noon and from 01:30 PM to 05:30 P.M afternoon on Fridays at the address given below.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 300.00 through the Ministry of Transport and Logistics' Bank Account No. 1000000984365 at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 9th July 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 10:30

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Birr 150,000.00 in the form of Bank Guarantee or CPO, and the bid security shall be valid for 90 calendar days.
