BDRM Trading PLC representing the UNHCR invites all eligible bidders to participate in the public auction of used vehicles & items of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Saturday 20th of July 2024 10:00 am at Kotobe 02 near Goal Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The registration fee is ETB 500.00 and the Deposit is 500,000.00 ETB for each vehicle lot and 200,000 ETB for each item lot Interested bidders shall deposit this amount through a bank transfer or a certified Payment Order (CPO) payable to “BDRM TRADING PLC” bank account with “DASHEN BANK” at the following account 5254001764064. Note: Only payments received at this bank account shall be considered valid.
The viewing, registration of the participants, and bidding will start on Monday, July 8, 2024 – Friday, JULY 19, 2024 at the above address from 09:00 am to 16:00 pm. The Seller will provide a Bidder number for each registered bidder that has paid the Deposit Fee. Bidders should obtain enough Bidder numbers to correspond with the number of
vehicles that they want to purchase. The Deposit fee will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders at the Auction site by MONDAY 22nd of JULY 2024. The awarded bidder (hereafter referred to as the Buyer) must pay 100% of the bid
price at the Seller’s bank account indicated above within five (5) working days after the Auction i.e., by Friday, 26th of JULY 2024.
The registered bidder hereby acknowledges that all the items are second-hand and that he/she has inspected them and is aware of their condition. The Seller may only provide basic technical information on the information leaflet affixed on the vehicle’s windscreen. The Seller does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided. It is the Bidder’s/Buyer's responsibility to double-check and verify all technical information with the relevant authorities. All items offered for sale at this Auction are subject to a “RESERVED PRICE” set by UNHCR. The Seller is not obliged to award the sale of an item if this reserved price is not met. There will be no award to the second-highest bidder.
All sales are final. The seller’s award of bid shall not be changed in any way at the Auction event.
All delivery or pick-up arrangements must be made by the Buyer.
The costs of storage for the items will be borne by the Seller until the issuance of Reference number. After that period the Buyer will be paying all storage and security costs towards the Seller birr 500 for each additional day that the items have not been picked up.
