INVITATION FOR BID
PROCUREMENTS OF AFREDIVE HAND PUMP SPARE PARTS

To: All pump Suppliers with renewed license valid for the 2016 E.C

1. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Water and Energy Bureau invites Eligible bidders with renewed licenses for 2016 E.C., registration cards issued from the Ministry of Trade, VAT registration certificates, and a Tax identification number (TIN).
2. The sources of the Fund are from the UNICEF WASH Emergency Fund Lot-01 reference BGRSWEB/ UNICEF WASH EMERGENCY/SP/0010/2024 G.C and Menge Woreda Water User Association
   supply chain Lot-2 reference BGRSWEB/MENGE WATER USER ASSOCIATION SUPPLY CHAIN/SP/0011/2024 G.C.
3. The location of Spare part delivery points is Dangure, Mandura, Bulen, Debate, Guba and Asossa, and Kurmuk warehouses.
4. An interested bidder can purchase a complete set of bidding documents in English from the day that the advertisement appears in the Ethiopia Herald newspaper at Room no 04 Ministry of Water and Energy in Hayahulet Addis Ababa during working hours upon payment of a non-returnable fee of Ethiopia Birr 500.00/ Five hundred/birr only the method of payment will be in cash, in addition it is possible to buy both lot (i.e lot-1 and lot-2) with one organization to minimize logistic cost.
5. The eligible bidders are expected to go through the bidding document and submit originals and copies of their technical and financial proposals as well as bid security in separate wax-sealed envelopes addressed to Benishangul Gumuz Region Water and Energy Bureau, the place of opening bid is at Ministry of water and energy Addis Ababa, Room No B-04 on or before 2:30PM on or before 21st calendar days from the last advertisement date notice on the Ethiopian Herald and bids shall be opened at 3:00 PM at the Ministry of water and energy the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. If the 21st Calendar Day is holiday, it will be on the next working day.
6. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the opening tender procedures contained in the Public. Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia is open to all eligible bidders.
7. Bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty 60 days and Bid Security shall be Valid for 90 Days after Bid opening. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable (CPO) or bank guarantee) for UNICEF BID Lot-1, 100,000 Birr (one hundred thousand birr), and also for Menge Woreda BID Lot-2, 60,000 Birr (sixty thousand birr) only.
8. Bidders should provide qualification requirements which include: (i) The Bidder shall furnish an externally audited financial statement of the firm for the last three years to Conform of financial turnover of at least equal to the bid price if it is experienced firm, (ii) Necessarily supplying goods not limited to experienced firms also we will consider the beginners.
9. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Water and Energy Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
