Oromia Pipe Factory PLC (OPF PLC) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the HDPE and uPVC pipes Laboratory Testing Equipment (Machines) for international competitive biddings (ICB)

The quantity, installation, Test and Commissioning of complete for HDPE and uPVC pipe testing machine which has been mentioned in detail in the bid document.

1. Detail specification and requirements is attached in the bid document.
2. Bidders shall present eligible documents such as Vat certificate, Tin certificate, Trade registration certificate, relevant renewed Trade license and clearance for the year 2017 E.C with their offer (for domestic bidders only)
3. Interested eligible bidders could purchase the bid document up on non-refundable payment of Birr 600.00 (Six Hundred) at office hour (Monday to Friday: 8:30AM-11:30AM and 1:30PM-4:00PM and Saturday: 8:30 AM -11:00AM) from OPF PLC Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
4. Bidders are responsible for assuring that the bids actually received on time at the place and office designated in this invitation. A late bid shall not be considered even though it becomes late because of factors beyond the bidder's control.
5. The bid must be accompanied by 100,000.00 (One hundred thousand) Birr bid security of stated amount in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank guarantee
6. Freight Cost is one of the evaluation criteria, so your port of loading should be specific (not mentioned as any sea port), and the type of container to be used and its carrying capacity should be mentioned.
7. Bid documents shall be sealed and delivered to Oromia Pipe factory PLC at Addis Ababa
8. The Price quoted shall be fixed for 90 days after bid opening date.
9. The Technical specification with manufacturers' stamp and signature should be prepared and separately attached from financial documents in an organized manner.
10. Bidders must include original Manufacturers' certificate for all items mentioned and delegation letter for Participation in the bid document from the Manufacturer for assuring installation, testing and commissioning of complete Machines.
11. Oromia Pipe Factory PLC reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid, to amend the bidding Process and all the documents.
12. The bid will be closed and open on July 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM respectively. If this day is holyday the date of closing will be on the next working day same time.
