- The Government of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project, Phase Two (LLRP II), and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for the Procurement of Printed (Labelled) Sheep, Goats and Cattle Ear Tags and Ear Tag Applicators for Sheep, Goat and Cattle Ear Tags for Ministry of Agriculture. "For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments by the Federal. Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (FPCU office under the Ministry of Irrigation and Lowlands (MILLS).

- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bid (NCB) using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" dated July 2016 and latest revised in September 2023 (Procurement Regulations") and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- The bidding document in English language can collected by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by their respective email address or the Bidder can collect the soft copy of the bidding document from Ministry of Irrigation and Lowlands. Federal Project Coordination Unit (FPCU) in No 9 below address.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below, Federal, Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (FPCU) office on or before 25th June 2025 at 3:00 PM. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project-project conference hall on 25th June 2025 at 3:30 PM
- All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 600,000 (Six Hundred Thousand Ethiopian Birr) CPO, Bank Guarantee from the Recognized Bank.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
