Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia (HFHE) is a branch of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI). HEHE is currently operating under Africa Habitat for Humanity International. Since its establishment in 1993, Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia has supported more than 165,279 families (826,396 individuals). Initially focused on mortgage houses for families affected by poverty and other vulnerabilities. the organization has expanded its efforts to incorporate vulnerable group housing, urban slum upgrading, urban resilience building water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and Disaster Risk Reduction Response (DR3)-WASH Resilience Building.
HFHE is inviting eligible bidders with a valid medical insurance license to submit sealed tenders for providing medical insurance coverage for employees of Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia.
Interested bidders can request and obtain the Tender Documents, which include the TOR and staff data via email through procurement@habitatethiopia.org. On working days from 28-May to June 11, 2025, submissions can be made between 8:30-11:40 AM, and 1:00-4:40 PM. The financial and technical proposals should be submitted by June 11, 2025, at 2:30 PM. Bids submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
Tenders duly filled must be accompanied by:
Medical Insurance Trade registration license, renewed business license for the year 2017 E.C. VAT registration certificate. TIN certificate, etc.
Company profile showing past performance record on similar works and other relevant credentials.
Financial proposal as per HFHE- TOR.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with "bidder's name, address, legal stamp, and name of the particular service, bid reference no.." and submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of their technical and financial documents. All technical and financial documents (original and copies), must be sealed separately and placed in an outer large, sealed envelope before being submitted to HFHE at the address listed below on or before Jun 11.2025. at 2:30 PM. Bids will be opened at 3:00 PM on the same day at the HFHE Country office in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend. If the bid opening day fails on a public holiday, the bid will close and open on the next working day,
NOTE: Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia reserves all the rights to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process at any time before contract award, without thereby incurring any liability from the bidder's side.
