REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR

THE PREPARATION OF STRATEGIC PLAN FOR

GLOBAL BANK ETHIOPIA

In the existing dynamic business environment, there is a need to keep abreast of emerging developments and take the necessary strategic measures so as to tap opportunities and mitigate associated risks. Cognizant of this Global Bank Ethiopia is planning to hire versed consulting firms in a bid to enhance its competitiveness and realize its vision.

Accordingly, the Bank hereby invites qualified firms to formulate a Five-Year strategic plan and Ten Years roadmap for Global Bank Ethiopia, in consideration of Ethiopian Banking Industry Competitive Landscape.

Eligible firms are thus invited to indicate their interest in providing the Consultancy Services. Interested firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

The shortlisting criteria are the core competence of the firm. Qualification and relevant experience of the firm, financial capability and average annual fun over, past performance of similar assignments and timeliness of delivery, and technical managerial capability of the firm.

Eligible firms shall submit the following documents along with their expression of interest for the required Services and shall include:

• Profile of your firm (including year of establishment);
• Description/brief summary of core competency (your firm's area of specialization):
• Qualification (certificate and accreditation):
• Relevant experience of the firm (Number and list of similar projects/ advisory services completed on financial companies over the last five years):
• Technical and managerial capacity of the firm (governance structure, number of staffs, global presence (branches/offices):
• Composition/diversity and experience of the consulting firm team: and
• Short description of your firm's understanding and knowledge of Ethiopia's social, economic, legal and compliance issues along with cultural context.
• Eligible firms may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.

1. Global Bank Ethiopia S.C. invites all interested and eligible companies by this bid to procure EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE PREPARATION OF STRATEGIC PLAN.
2. The bid document shall be obtained from Bank Head office, Procurement & Facility Administration Dep't, National Tower Building 7th floor. Ras Abebe Damtew St. Near Ethiopia Hotel; against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr). The bid document shall be collected during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:00-12:00 AM, and 1:00-4:45 PM; and Saturday 8:00-11:45 AM by presenting the payment advice. renewed Trade License, Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and VAT Registration Certificate is mandatory.
3. Bidders shall be quite sure to state direct line phone number and cell phone number of their organization correctly while collecting bid documents, failure in receipt of bid communication due to incorrectness of the above will not be the responsibility of the bank.
4. Bid proposal shall be accompanied by the bid security of Birr 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand) in the form of unconditional Bank guarantee or cash payment order (CPO), Bid security in any other form is not acceptable.
5. All bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at head office on or before August 21, 2025 at the place mentioned under No. 2 above.
6. Failure to comply any for the conditions from 2-5 above shall result in automatic rejection.
7. The bid will be closed on August 21, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.
8. Bid opening shall be held in the presence of bidders and/or their legal agents who wish to attend at the place mentioned under No.2 on August 21, 2025 at 10:15 A.M.
