Background
The Africa Health Collaborative- Addis Ababa University (AHC-AAU) project is a flagship Initiative established to enhance capacity building, Innovation, and support knowledge exchange in health environment across Ethiopia and the African region. AHC-AAU project aims to strengthen academic networks, promote inter-institutional collaboration, and advance the training of health professionals through integrated efforts in education, employment, Entrepreneurship, research, and policy engagement to transform health and well-being in Ethiopia
The need for a centralized, accessible, and interactive digital platform is essential to achieving the collaborative strategic goals. The website will act as a key enabler of communication, institutional visibility, and evidence-informed engagement among local implementing partner universities, regional partner universities, policy makers, healthcare providers, development partners, and academic networks. The AHC-AAU project website initiative is aligned with the AAU's mission to advance health systems transformation through high-quality education and research by providing a platform to disseminate knowledge. promote collaboration, and demonstrate the impact of AHC-AAU's project work on health systems. It will also support broader objectives of the Africa Health Collaborative network, creating digital linkages with similar platforms across the continent and contributing to a shared knowledge ecosystem. The development and long-term success of this website require a technically sound, user-centered. and sustainable approach.
For this purpose, AHC-AAU Project seeks to hire a consulting firm to design and develop a Website for the AHC-AAU Project.
Description of the Assignment
The Consultant will provide end-to-end design and development of a comprehensive, user-centered website for the AHC-AAU project use. The website must function as an institutional knowledge platform, engagement hub, and collaboration interface for national and international stakeholders. The work will be executed in the following 7 (seven) phases:
Discovery and Planning, Visual Design and Branding. Website Development and Feature Integration, Testing and Quality Assurance. Launch and Support, Training and Documentation, Knowledge Transfer and Handover
Requirement
The Consulting Firm is required to fulfill the following minimum requirement:
- Minimum of BSc, in Computer Sciences, web design, Information System, Software engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of three (3) years and above of experience in web design and development Experience.
- At least three written testimonies or certificates from previous client companies demonstrating previous Website Design and Development work.
- Must submit valid Trade License, Tax Identification Number (TIN), Value Added Tax (VAT) registration and Tax clearance.
Application procedure
Interested consulting firms can participate in the bid to design and develop a Website for the AHC-AAU Project as per the Terms of Reference (TOR) described in the standard bid document (SBD) prepared for this purpose. Applicants can collect the SBD beginning from August 4, 2025 from the Shayashone PLC Office, Bole, Cameron Street, Reality Plaza 12th Floor.
Submission Deadline:
All bidders are required to submit separate technical and financial proposals in sealed and stamped envelopes (one original and one copy for each) at the Shayashone PLC Office, Bole Cameron Street, Reality Plaza 12th Floor on or before August 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM and The bid will be opened on August 18, 2025 at 3:30 PM.
