IFB Title - Borehole Drilling & Construction
- The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received Grant from the World Bank through One WASH National Program towards the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Project and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Borehole Drilling Construction and installation.
- The Somali Regional State Water Bureau now invites sealed bids from qualified and eligible bidders for the drilling of two boreholes project in Reybada Kebele (Segag woreda) and Afweyne Kebele (Lagahida Woreda) in Somali Region.
- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and is open to all bidders from World Bank eligible source countries as defined in the World Bank Rules of Procedures for procurement of Goods and Works.
- Bids shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security (Unconditional Bank guarantee or CPO) of birr 900,000.00 (Nine Hundred Thousand Birr).
- A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased directly from SRS WRDB. Wash Program Management Unit at Jijiga up on payment of a non-refundable fee ETB 1,500 (One Thousand five hundred Birr) from the date of first announcement of this notice on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper in office hours.
- Bid closing date is on or before 3 October 2025 at local time at 10:00 AM
- Bids shall be opened on 3 October 2025 at local time at 10:30 AM in the presence of the client and bidder's representatives' who wish to attend.
- Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
