Amhara Pipe Factory Plc (APF) here by invites international eligible bidders for the supply of different raw materials and Machineries mentioned below:

Bidders who want to participate in this bid should fulfill the criteria here in after: -

1. Bidders could participate for one or more lots, but the items for a lot shall not be partial.
2. Bidders who have Import Trade License could participate for one or more lots.
3. Bidders shall present eligibility documents VAT, TIN, Trade Registration Certificate (Agent letter) and Renewed Trade License for the year 2018 E.C with their price offer.
4. All bids must be accompanied by bid security bond of 2% for the total bid price in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO issued from Domestic Bank of Ethiopian for each lot.
5. The amount of bid security bond not exceed from Br. 500,000.00
6. Interested eligible bidders: -

• Could purchase the bid document up on non-refundable payment of Birr 500.00 (Birr Five Hundred) for all or less lots from the buyer Finance
• Work Process Office No. 108.
• Or could purchase by depositing the amount mentioned above in the Amhara Pipe Factory PLC, bank account number 1000013149996 found in CBE.
• To access the bid document and for registration activities the bidders should send the deposit slip by the factory e-mail address amharapipefactory@gmail.com and could get the soft copy of the bid document through their e-mail address.

7. Bidders should prepare and submit detail technical specification of the raw materials/machineries they want to participate to offer price.
8. The technical specification submitted by the supplier not compatible to the purchaser technical specification has zero tolerance.
9. In general, for all Lots particularly for raw materials mentioned under Lot 5 to Lot 9 bidders should state their shelf time.
10. The original technical specification 'with bidders/manufacturers' stamp and signature should be prepared and submit in sealed envelope detached (separated) from financial documents in an organized manner.
11. The price quoted by the bidder shall be valid for 120 consecutive days after bid opening date and should have room for extension by negotiation.
12. Bidders must include original manufactures' certificate and delegation letter for participation in the bid document for assuring the goods should be supplied from this manufacturer.
13. The raw materials which have been mentioned from Lot 1-Lot 9 ought to be packed by 25 kg bags (net weight) and the bag should be hard or strong enough to keep the raw materials not dropped out.
14. Bid documents both Financial (Bid security, Eligible Documents and Price quotation) and Technical (all other documents except documents mentioned under financial) shall be sealed separately and delivered to Amhara Pipe Factory Plc Bahir Dar City.
15. Bidders are responsible for assuring that bid documents actually received on time at the place and office designated in this invitation.
16. The Bid will be closed after 30 consecutive days since this bid invitation published on Ethiopian Herald newspaper.
17. The late bid shall not be considered even though it becomes late because of factors beyond the bidder's control.
18. Amhara Pipe Factory Plc reserves the right to accept or reject one or more lots, and to amend the bidding process.
