RFP FOR A CONSULTANCY SERVICE TO DEVELOP BUSINESS CASE FOR HEALTHY DIET PRODUCTION IN AGRO INDUSTRIAL PARKS

Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) Ethiopia Country Office

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition.

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) would like to invite eligible and interested consulting firms to submit bids for the consultancy service entitled: "Business Case Development for Healthy Diet Production in Agro- Industrial Parks".

1. 1. Eligibility Criteria, Applicants must have strong experience in agribusiness and value chain analysis, expertise in business and financial modelling, proven stakeholder engagement skills, familiarity with Ethiopia's agro-industrial and food security context and must submit valid legal documents including a renewed trade license, VAT/TOT registration, and TIN certificate.

1. 3. Bid Validity

The bid price shall remain valid for 60 days from the date of submission.

1. 4. Submission Format, Bidders must submit Technical and Financial Proposals in separate sealed envelopes.
1. The financial proposal must be submitted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) only.
   5. Bid Submission Deadline

Sealed bid documents must be submitted in the designated bid box on or before December 30, 2025, at 16:00 GMT at the specified location.

1. 6. Disqualification Clause

Failure to comply with any of the conditions stated in the RFP will result in automatic disqualification of the bid.

1. 7. Right to Accept/Reject

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either partially or in full, without assigning any reason.
