The Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received grant finance from African Development Bank) to increase access to climate-resilient, gender-sensitive, integrated, and sustainable water supply and sanitation services for communities and livestock in the dryland pastoral areas of Borana, helping to reduce hardship from recurrent droughts and water scarcity.
1. The Ministry of Water and Energy now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for procurements of Six (6) Field Vehicles (5 seats) Hybrid Double Cabin Pick- Up, Two (2 Electrical Mini Bus (12) Seats. and One (1) Cargo Crane Truck 6x4 loading Capacity 6T The margin of preference is not applicable.
2. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB), and is open to all eligible Bidders.
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Water and Energy, Mr. Kasahun Girma-, email: kasginna24'axmaii.com Project coordinator/ Tsige Meried Procurement Specialist email: 13mtsige@gmail.com and check the bidding document during office hours 8:30 a.m. 12:00 noon in the morning and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon at the address given below.
4. A complete set of bidding documents in English language will be available and can be downloaded from Ministry web page address given below using the following link free of cost: https://www.mowe.20V.et/en/resourcetypes/procurement-files- Bidders are required to register in person at the address given below before downloading the bidding document and submitting their bids.
5. Replies to clarifications requested by bidders will not be emailed directly to bidders. All responses to clarifications will be posted in the above link on the Ministry website and bidders are solely responsible for monitoring the website during the bidding process for all clarifications/amendments with respect to this IFB
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 21 April 2026, 2:00 p.m. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and aayone who chooses to attend at the address below on 21 April 2026, 2:30 p.m.
