Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church EOC-DICAC would like to invite competent individual consultants or consulting firms who have interest to submit applications for the provision of consultancy service to Develop NAP Implementation Information/Evidence Recording and Sharing Framework.
Invitation to Consultancy Service Provision
EOC-DICAC is the development wing of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, which was established by legal notice No. 415/72 in 1972. In accordance with the Civil Society Organization’s proclamation No. 1113/2019, it was also re-registered as a local organization with registration number 1560, on July 12, 2019.
Recognizing the substantial risks that climate change poses to the sectors such as agriculture, water, and natural resources, EOC-DICAC has been actively engaged in various climate adaptation and mitigation interventions. However, at national level, it was learnt that challenges in terms of lack of institutional capacity, inadequate coordination, and lack of access to adequate funding continue to hinder the effective implementation of the Ethiopian National Adaptation Plan (ETH-NAP). To address these gaps, currently, EOC-DICAC is implementing a project entitled: “Accelerating the Implementation of the National Adaptation Plan, ETH-NAP” through the financial support obtained from Dan Church Aid (DCA).
As part of this initiative, EOC-DICAC is planning to develop structured framework for gathering, managing, and sharing information and evidence related to the implementation of National Adaptation Plan.
Therefore, at this point in time, EOC-DICAC would like to invite competent individual consultants or consulting firms who have interest to submit applications for the provision of consultancy service to Develop NAP Implementation Information/Evidence Recording and Sharing Framework.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Valid and renewed professional license,
- Tax Identification Number (TIN),
- VAT registration certificate, and
- Relevant professional qualification & experiences.
Those who fulfill the above have to submit:
- A detailed technical proposal, signed and sealed,
- A separate financial proposal (in local currency), signed and sealed,
- CVs of key personnel (for firms) or personal profile (for individuals), and
- Proven track record and testimonials of relevant experience.
Application Process
Interested and eligible consultants are invited to collect the Terms of Reference (ToR) from EOC-DICAC Development Department at the address indicated below and submit completed application within 10 calendar days from the date of this announcement on the newspaper.
