Background
Empowering Families, Enriching Lives: Evidence-Driven Scaling of LIWAY's Childcare Models for Two-Generational ECD Project
Mercy Corps is implementing the “Empowering Families, Enriching Lives: Evidence- Driven Scaling of LIWAY’s Childcare Models for Two-Generational Early Childhood Development (ECD)” project, funded by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
The project aims to improve access to quality, affordable childcare services while strengthening women’s economic participation through market systems approaches, private sector engagement, innovative childcare financing mechanisms, employment services, and evidence-based interventions.
Purpose of the Consultancy
The purpose of this consultancy is to generate high-quality knowledge products that synthesize project evidence, document lessons learned, highlight promising practices, and provide actionable recommendations for future programming, policy engagement, and scaling.
The knowledge products will support Mercy Corps, partners, donors, government stakeholders, and development actors to better understand effective approaches for integrating childcare services and women's livelihood interventions.
Completed documents must be submitted to Mercy Corps by Aug 7, 2026, 5:00 PM.
