Procurement of Consultancy service for Asset Valuation

1. Hawassa City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise Invites Sealed Bids from all Registered Eligible Bidders of Consultants for the Consultancy Service of Asset Valuation (evaluation and assignment of the current market value for all movable and fixed assets registered in the name of the Enterprise).
2. The bidders shall have a certificate renewed for 2018 E.C. and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidders compliance which shall include:

• All relevant licenses renewed for 2018 E.C.
• Tax clearance certificate valid at least at bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender.
• Registration certificate as a consultant in the list of PPA.
• VAT and TIN registration certificate.

1. A complete set of the bidding documents may be purchased by interested, eligible Bidders at the above office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1000.00 (One thousand Ethiopian Birr), starting from the first insertion of this advertisement on The Ethiopian Herald.
2. Bids must be delivered to the address below on 21st calendar day after announced in the Ethiopian Herald newspaper up to 2:00 PM. If the 21st calendar day lies on Ethiopian holidays, the last date of bid submission will be the next working day at 2:00 PM in the afternoon. Electronic bids will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
3. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Birr) in the form of Certified Cheque Payment Order (C.P.O). Bank Guarantee or Insurance Guarantee is not acceptable.
4. The bid security to be submitted by a bidder shall carefully address the Employer's name & the validity of the bid security. Failure of stating any of which would cause rejection from the bid.
5. Technical qualification document shall be prepared in an original and two copies in a properly signed, stamped & separately wax-sealed envelopes, clearly marking "Original", "Copy 1" and "Copy 2" Technical Proposal. Non-compliance to this may lead to rejection.
6. The Financial document shall be prepared in one original and two copies. The original & the copies shall be signed, stamped & wax sealed in a separate envelope clearly marking "Original", "Copy 1" and "Copy 2" Financial Proposal. Non-compliance to this may lead to rejection.
7. Late bids will be rejected. The sealed envelopes containing an original and a copy of Financial and Technical offer documents along with the bid security as indicated in the bidding documents must be hand delivered to the address below on the last submission date.
8. Bids and Bid security of the bidders will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the bid opening at Hawassa City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise Floor Room No.19- on the last submission date at 2:30 PM.
9. Hawassa City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise reserve the right to reject any all bids.
