INVITATION TO TENDER FOR VEHICLE RENTAL
Organization for Social Services, Health and Development (OSSHD) is an indigenous non-governmental Organization operating in Ethiopia on provision of Health, social and development services for more than 30 years.
Now, OSSHD invites qualified Transport service providers to participate in an open tender for the provision of vehicle rental service for various field operations:
The service provider is expected to supply:
-Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) Vehicles, fully insured coverage, and suitable to all types of roads including rugged terrain. The transport service provider should supply the vehicles with drivers and fuel. The drivers should be well mannered and have adequate license for the assigned vehicle.
Areas of deployment of the rented vehicle:
- One vehicle for Benishangul Gumuz Region: To be stationed in Metekel zone but will provide regular & Frequnet services across the four woredas- in Metekel zone: Pawi, Bullen, Mandura and Wombera woredas
- One vehicle for Amhara Region: To be stationed in Bahirdar City and will provide regular & frequent services across Awi Zone (Jawi, Zigem, and Ayehu Guagusa woredas), East Gojam Zone (D/Markos town, Hulet Eju Nese, Sedie, Goncha and woredas) and North Gojam Zone (North Achefer, South Achefer, North Mecha and Yilmana Densa woredas).
The interested transport service provider participating in this bid should fulfill the following eligibility requirements.
- Valid and renewed business license, VAT, TIN certificates, recently issued tax clearance from concerned authority.
- Company Profile, including the bidder’s address,
- A bid security of at least 2% of the quoted price in the form of CPO from a recognized bank is required and the winning bidder should agree to present 5% performance bond held with the client during the contract period, which will be issued after receiving the award.
- Bid closing will be after 10 consecutive days on Tuesday August 25, 2026 at 10:00 am from the first date this announcement appeared in Reporter newspaper, the bid will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives on Tuesday August 25, 2026 at 10:30.
- OSSHD reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
