REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

FOR ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION

BELAYAB CABLE Manufacturing plc, engaged in the cable manufacturing industry in Oromia region at Adama town manufacturing and supplying variety of copper and Aluminum Cables and wires for private and government organizations.

Belayab Cables manufacturing plc. Offers one of the most complete lines of power cable, control cables and data cables from copper and aluminum cabling system solutions with over hundreds of different cabling system products.

Belayab Cable Manufacturing PLC invites qualified and experienced ERP solution providers to submit proposals for the implementation, customization, training, testing, deployment, and support of a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.

1.     The objective of this project is to modernize and integrate the company's business processes, improve operational efficiency, enhance decision-making through real-time reporting, and support future business growth through a scalable and secure ERP platform.

2.     Interested bidders are encouraged to carefully review all requirements, technical specifications, implementation expectations, and submission instructions contained in this RFP before preparing their proposals.

3.     The bidder shall submit two waxed and sealed envelope bidding documents. These two documents include one original and one copy for each technical and financial document. The copy should be a photocopy of the original bid document and must be sealed and marked in the same manner as the original bid document. The bid security must be waxed, sealed, and signed separately. Additionally, the bidder shall submit a soft copy of the technical proposal in a sealed envelope together with the technical hard copy.

4.     A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application together with a VAT registration certificate, a certificate of competence from the concerned government body, a renewed trade license, a renewed trade registration certificate, and a valid tax clearance covering the bid validity period. The documents shall be issued upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500.00, payable in cash, starting from the first date the notice appears in the newspaper and continuing for 30 working days during office hours, Monday through Friday.

5.     The tender will close at in the afternoon 2:00 PM and open at in the afternoon 2:30 PM on the 30th day following the announcement, in the presence of the bidders or representatives who choose to attend.

6.     The financial proposals of the selected or qualified consultants shall be opened, and the financial evaluation conducted after the results of the technical document review are announced on the notice board. The bid shall remain valid for 60 days. The required Bid Security shall be 3% (Three Percent) of the Total Bid Price, with a validity period of 120 days from the bid submission deadline, and must be submitted in the form of a Bank CPO or Bank Guarantee.

7.     Late bids shall be rejected and indicating of disclosing financial proposal anywhere in technical proposal will take to disqualification.

8.     Belayab cable manufacturing plc has the right to accept / reject any or all bids.
