Background
Camara Education Ethiopia is an international NGO registered with the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (License No. 1923) and a long‑standing partner of the Federal Ministry of Education (MoE) since 2011, supporting the expansion of inclusive digital learning in disadvantaged communities in Ethiopia.
Camara Education Ethiopia is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced consultancy firm to support the organization in transitioning its financial reporting and accounting practices to the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) framework, as 2026 the first year of IPSAS reporting.
Eligibility Requirements
Interested firms must demonstrate all of the following eligibility criteria:
- Valid business registration and relevant professional license.
- Demonstrate relevant experience in IPSAS conversion and implementation, specifically, only within International non-profit organizations.
- Qualified accounting and IPSAS professionals with appropriate IPSAS credentials and experience.
- A minimum of three relevant engagements of similar nature, supported by references and completion certificates.
- Adequate technical and financial capacity to undertake the assignment within a specific period of time.
