- The Somali Region, Pastoral Development Bureau has signed a 4-year Grant Contract No: NDICI Africa/2024/453-500 with the European Union delegate to Ethiopia towards the cost of the Project entitled: Restoration of Livestock Services in Drought Affected Areas of Somali Region, with the objective of enhancing Food Security, Nutrition and Livelihood Resilience for Rural Communities in the region on areas affected by drought with reduction of GHG emissions, and it is intended to apply part of the fund to eligible payments under contracts of Supplies and Equipment for Procurement of Office Furniture and ICT Equipment for Regional Coordination Unit (RPCU) and Woreda Vet. Clinics;
- The Somali Regional Pastoral Development Bureau now invites open sealed bids from eligible bidders (suppliers), having renewed relevant trade license with proven past performance records and enough capacity to undertake contracts under supply of Goods

- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and aspect the bidding documents at the office of address given below in the morning from
8:30am to 12.00pm and in the afternoon from 2:00pm to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
- A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non- refundable fee of ETB 1,000.00 (One thousand birr only) by interested bidders on submission of official written application letter attached with the bidder's legal documents comprising of: (1) Renewed Trade License (ii) VAT Registration certificate (iii) Tax Payers Registration certificate (iv) Suppliers List certificate and (v) Competence (Professional Practice) certificate- if applicable;
- Bid must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 am (04:00 Local Time) after 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the first date of announcement on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper.
- Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on the same date of delivery/submission deadline at 10:30 am (04:30 Local time).
- Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security stated in the table above, and in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee.
- Bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty (60) days after the bid submission deadline.
- Bids Evaluation shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the Standard Bidding Document and Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with all instructions, forms, contract provisions, detailed quantity requirements and technical specifications contained in the Bidding Document. Bidders may have the option to bid for one or more (lots) as applicable:
- SRS-PDB reserves the right to accept or reject this bid, and/or annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award.
