Invitation for Bid

Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) that aspires to see all children and Youth Wellbeing fostered. The organization has five major program areas; Child well- being and Education Development, Gender and Life Skill Development; Employable Skill Development, Advocacy, and Humanitarian Emergency Response programs. DEC works different Regions of Ethiopia: Afar, Amhara, Benshangul Gumuz, Gambela, Oromia Tigray, South West Ethiopia, and Addis Ababa City Administration.

In alignment with the Mission DEC Education Cannot Wait (ECW II) project coordinated by Save the Children International (SCI) is currently being implemented in the Amhara Region. This bid seeks qualified contractors to rehabilitate and renovate school blocks and latrine in selected districts-Kewot, Tarmaber, and Mojana Wodera in North Shewa Zone, and Raya Kobo,Guba Lafto and Angot in North Wollo Zone.

Therefore, all interested and eligible bidders who are capable, qualified, and technically competent and have a valid license for the current Ethiopian FY 2018 can submit their Documents.

Note that:

1. 1. Bidders Can collect Specifications and Quantities from listed Districts Education Office (Kewot, Tramaber, Mojana Wodera, Raya Kobo, Guba Lafto and Angot)
   2. The Supplier Should Have a Renewed License for the Year
   3. Development Expertise Center reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
   4. Late applying for bids will not be accepted
   5. Bidders should indicate the price includes VAT.
   6. Each item is Submitted in a Separate Sealed Envelope.

Bids should only apply between October 15-23, 2025.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 10:30 am (4:30 local time) at Zonal coordination office ( Woldia and Bebrebrehan) October 28, 2025, at the DEC Office.
