1. The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Head Quarter Office invites eligible and qualified contractors of category of Electromechanical Contractors, water works contractors, and general contractors, or related contractors of category 5 and above with valid trade license, registration certificate, tax clearance valid up to date, supplier registration certificate (must be active online) and eligible for the work. Major part of the work is supply and installation of 90KW solar system with accessories for existing 45KW submersible pump in Oromia region, West Arsi zone, Siraro Woreda Lokke Sifo Kebele.

2. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of biding document by depositing a non-refundable payment amount ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr) on CBE Account Number 1000000950487 in the name of Ethiopian Red Cross Society & collect the bidding document from ERCS Head Quarter office No 25.
3. Bidders shall present copy of their renewed trade license for the year 2017 E.C.. registration Certificate. Tax Identification & VAT Registration Certificates: supplier registration certificate, which must be active for this fiscal year and other necessary documents.
4. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society Head Quarter along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable Forms (CPO ONLY) SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The CPO should be valid for 28 days after bid validity.
5. Financial offer shall be produced in separate envelopes labelled as ORIGINAL and COPY, TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a separate third wax sealed envelope clearly labelled as TECHNICAL OFFER. The three envelopes shall then be sealed, signed and stamped inside a sealed, signed and stamped outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.
6. Bid will be closed on November 26, 2025 at 2:00 pm and will be opened on the same date at 2:30pm in the presence of those bidders or their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS Conference Room, Addis Ababa.
7. Bidders are advised to read bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bidding document.
8. Failure to comply with the conditions from No.2 to 7 above may result in an automatic rejection.
9. The Ethiopian Red Cross Society reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award, with out thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
