1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals supply service (EPSS) invites all interested bidders to participate through the national electronic government procurement (e-GP) system in the tender for
2. "Procurement of Pharmaceuticals" issued under the International Competitive Bid (ICB) procurement method.
3. The deadline for bid submission date is indicated in the e-GP system. The details on eligibility and other requirements for bidders are published in the detailed invitation notice in the bidding document, both of which are available on the e-GP system and can be accessed on the website.
4. Bidders who are interested to participate in the bidding process must be register on the e-GP system www.ppa.gov.et eGP portal. 5. The bid will be opened online, with bidders or their representatives participate virtually through the link which will be stated in the bidding document.
6. Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security 2% of total price of quoted items which shall not exceed ETB 2,000,000 (maximum amount) or equivalent convertible currency as indicated in the bidding document. The bid security from insurance company will not be accepted.
7. The Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Service reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids, at any time prior to award of contract without there by incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders or any obligation to inform the affected bidder or bidders on the ground for the company's action.

NB: All bidders shall share their e-GP private key on a system before bid opening time.
