Invitation to International Bid

Sidama Broadcasting Corporation invites interested and eligible international bidders to bid for the procurement Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of TV Studio, TV Automation & Uplink Equipment, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of FM Transmitter & Radio Studio and Related Accessories on turnkey basis as the following Lots arrangements.

The system should be complete package with turnkey agreement with all required hardware and software system designed to perfection for the required system; the design shall be completely compatible with all known international installation Equipment.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of FM Transmitter & Radio Studio and Related Accessories ICB 002/2025 LOT 2

Accordingly, bidders fulfilling the following instructions and criteria can participate on the tender.

1. Bidders must be manufacturers and/or integrators of broadcasting media with known international experience of more than 15 years. The bidders shall submit international certification documents and shall full fill all European and American standards for the equipment manufacturing of the industry.
2. The bid should be prepared in two separate envelopes technical and financial proposal with One Original and Two Copies for each lot.
3. Photo copy of renewed license, eligibility documents and performance certificate should be submitted within the envelope of technical proposal.
4. Bidder can obtain bid document from Sidama Broadcasting Corporation Hawassa office number 202 before January 26, 2026 during office hours against payment of non-refundable Birr 800.00 for each lot.
5. Bids should be accompanied by Bid bond amount as indicated in table below for each lot issued in favor of Sidama Broadcasting Corporation by first class bank in the form of certified cheque or CPO or bank guarantee.
6. Bids Shall be closed and opened as per the schedule in the table below

7. Bids will be received at Sidama Broadcasting Corporation Hawasa Office number 202 before January 26, 2026 until 2:00 P.M as per table above. Bids received after closing time will be automatically rejected.
8. The technical proposal of Bids received in time and fulfilling the other Kept formalities shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives on January 26, 2026 at 2:30 P.M Hawassa office number 202 as per table above.
9. The financial proposal of bidders who pass technical evaluation will be opened after the technical evaluation is completed on the date announced by letter to the bidders.
10. Bidders or local agents must produce their evidence of currently renewed license that they have paid up all government taxes, Certificate from Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation specifying that they have registered in suppliers' list, Manufacturer's authorization, TIN certificate and VAT registration certificate from the tax authority together with the technical documents.
11. The Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
