Invitation to Tender for Detailed Geotechnical

Investigation of Five Bridges:

for Construction Works of Tenta -Gashena Road Project; Contract 2: Kurba Junction (Chegoma) - Gashena (km 86+100-130+786). In accordance with the overall road sector strategy, the Road Fund Office of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, represented by the Ethiopian Roads Administration (ERA), has allocated budgets to finance the Construction Works for the Construction Works of Tenta Gashena Rood Project: Contract 2: Kurba Junction (Chegoma) Gashena (km 86+100-130+786).

The foundation investigations are for the project bridges located in Amhara National Regional state, south wollo zone being part of the road beginning at Tenta town and passes through the towns of wegel tena and kon towns; the project ends at the T-junction with woreta – woldiya road in Gashena town.

The Works to be carried out under this contract comprises Detail Geotechnical investigation including mobilization and demobilization of drilling equipment, all necessary accessories and crew to the project site, study of regional and the bridge site seismic hazards, drilling of boreholes by using rotary drilling rig, determination of SPT-values to determine strength of various layer, extract disturbed, undisturbed and core samples to determine Engineering properties of the site, establishment of ground water condition, detailed geotechnical logging of boreholes. laboratory testing of collected samples, Preservation of cores/study samples and Preparation of Technical Report.

Yotek Construction plc. Now invites eligible firms ("Sub-Contractors") to provide the services for 'Detailed Geotechnical Investigations". Bidding will be conducted through the national Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all eligible domestic bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document.

Interested eligible bidder shall submit one original and one photocopy for both Technical Proposal and financial offer and bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from Yotek Construction plc at the address given below from 8:30am to 12:30pm am and 1:30pm to 5:00 pm from Mondays to Friday, Saturday 8:30 am to 12:30pm local time free of charge as of January 15, 2026, on the submission of a written application, effective from the first date of announcement until January 21, 2026.
