PREQUALIFICATION OF GENERAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACTORS FOR A
ONE-YEAR FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

Belayab Foods Production PLC (BFP), the franchise operator of Pizza Hut, Burger King, and Cold Stone Creamery in Ethiopia, invites qualified and experienced General Contractors to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for prequalification to participate in future Restricted Tender for a One-Year Framework Agreement to provide maintenance services across its outlets nationwide.
Scope of Maintenance Works
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
- Ceramic tile repair and replacement
- Painting works
- Heavy plumbing works
- Minor civil works and carpentry works
- Any other related repair works required across our outlets
Eligibility Requirements
Interested contractors shall submit the following documents:
- Valid Trade License.
- VAT Registration Certificate, TIN Certificate, and Tax Clearance Certificate.
- Renewed Competency Certificate (where applicable).
- Company Profile.
- Company Portfolio demonstrating similar maintenance projects.
- Evidence of a minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or restaurant maintenance works.
- Completion certificates or client reference letters for similar projects.
- Audited Financial Statements for the last three (3) years.
- Bank Reference Letter.
- List of key technical personnel and major equipment.
Only contractors meeting the prequalification requirements will be shortlisted and invited to participate in the future Restricted Tender.
- Shortlisted contractors will be invited to submit a financial proposal, including unit rates for the required maintenance activities.
The financial evaluation will consider:
- Unit rates (ETB per m², per item, per linear meter, or other applicable measurement units)
- Price competitiveness
- Completeness of the submitted Rate Schedule
- Overall value for money
Submission
Interested firms are invited to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
Submission Deadline: Within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
- Belayab Foods Production PLC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions and to cancel or amend this prequalification process without assigning any reason.
