INVITATION TO INTERNATIONAL COMPETETIVE BID

For the Procurement of CNC Horizontal Boring Machine

Ethio-engineering Group (EEG) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the below referenced bid.

Lot 1. CNC Horizontal Boring Machine

Bidders are required to submit one original and two copies of Technical and Financial proposals separately sealed. It is two envelope bid, total number of separately sealed envelopes required are six.

1.     The bidder has to submit renewed relevant Trade license, valid Tax clearance letter, TIN certificate, VAT registration certificate and FPPA website supplier registration certificate or business organization registration certificate or trade license issued by the country of establishment.

2.     Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bid and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Bidding Documents.

3.     Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement section and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from Monday to Saturday at working hours.

4.     Bid validity period shall be 90 days.

5.     A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders from the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee ETB 800.00 (Eight Hundred Birr) The method of payment shall be through bank account number CBE 1000028606177 Ethio engineering Group.

6.     The bid submission is from the date of the issue of the invitation on newspaper, to the 20th consecutive day. Time 4:00 LOCAL TIME. Late bids will be rejected.

7.     Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on the 30th day of the date of the invitation on newspaper at 4:30 local time.

8.     If the 30th day is not a working day, the bid will be delivered, closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working day.

9.     Bids must be accompanied by unconditional Bid Security in the amount of US Dollar 3,000.00 (Three Thousand US Dollar) or equivalent amount in freely convertible currency.

10.The bid security furnished from banks outside of Ethiopia has to be unconditional and shall be counter guaranteed by local banks (Ethiopian banks).

11.The purchaser reserves all legal right to fully or partially cancel the bid.
