Invitation for Open Bid

Zemen Insurance S.C. hereby invites interested and eligible competitive bidders for the renovation of its head office.

1. Eligible Bidders can take part in the bid upon presentation of:

• Currently renewed and valid license
• A certificate of registration issue by the ministry of Trade and Industry
• Registration for Value Added Tax

2. A Complete set of biding documents can be purchased from Finance and Investment Department by paying a non- returnable fee of Birr 500 {five hundred} in cash, located at Bole Alem Building 2^nd
3. The bid document shall be obtained commencing from the date of the bid floating on newspaper up to 10 consecutive days.
4. Bidders shall bring bid bond guarantee of 2% of the total bid price along with their financial proposal.
5. Bidders are required to submit both technical and financial proposal for the service in separate wax-sealed envelopes to Zemen Insurance, Human Capital Management & Administration Department, and Bole Alem Building 5^th
6. Bidders shall provide their bid price including 15% VAT.
7. Deadline for submission of tender will be September 9/2026 at 2:00 pm. Technical proposal shall be opened on the same date September 9/2026 at 2:30 pm/Afternoon/ in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
8. Tender award will be declared to bid winner shortly following the technical and financial proposals evaluation.
9. Failure to observe the instruction & conditions provided in the bid document will constitute grounds for rejection of the bidders from completion.
10. Zemen insurance reserves the right to accept or reject the bid partly or totally.
