Procurement of Electronic Devices (Laptops and printers)

To: All Suppliers with renewed license valid for the 2015/2016 Ethiopian Fiscal Year.

1. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional Stat Water & Energy. Resources Development Bureau invites eligible suppliers with renewed license for 2015/2016 EC, registration card issued from the Ministry of Trade, VAT registration certificate and Tax Identification Number (TIN).
2. The source of the fund is from COWASH project
3. Types of procurement: Electronic Devices (Laptops and printers)
4. The location of Clients: The Benishangul Gumuz Regional state, Assosa
5. An interested Supplier can purchase a complete set of bidding documents in English from the day that the advertisement appears on the Ethiopian Herald Newspaper at Room No. B-06 in Ministry of water and Energy, Addis Ababa during normal working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 200.00(Two Hundred Birr only). The Method of payment will be in cash.
6. Eligible suppliers are expected to go through the bidding document and submit original and copies of their technical and financial proposals in separate wax sealed envelopes addressed to Benishangul Gumuz Region Water and Energy Resources Development Bureau, through Ministry of Water and Energy, Addis Ababa, Room No B-06 on or before 2:00PM on or before 21 calendar days from the last advertisement date notice on The Ethiopian Herald and bids shall be opened at 2:30PM at the Addis Ababa, Ministry of water and Energy.
7. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the opening tender procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Governmet of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
8. Bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty (60) days after Bid opening and the bid security shall be valid for Ninety (90) days. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable (CPO or bank guarantee) form amounting to 30,00 Birr (Thirty Thousand Birr) and they shall be delivered to within title “The Benishangul Gumuz Regional state. Water and Energy Resources Development Bureau and submitted at Adds Ababa at 2:00 PM on or before 21 calendar days from the last advertisement date of this notice on The Ethiopian herald and Bids shall be opened at 2:30 on the same date at the Addis Ababa Ministry of water and Energy in the presence of the suppliers who wish to attend. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bidders will be rejected.
9. Bidders should provide qualification requirements which include: i) prefer experienced with in the similar size and nature and beginners also considered, ii) Financial capacity. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
10. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Water and Energy Resources Development Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid
