- Bidders should present renewed business license and registration certificate for VAT, Registration of Suppliers List Electronic Government Procurement (EGP), Tax clearance certificate issued by the tax authority valid for the current year and Tax Payers Registration Certificate. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of SER procurement Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods or Procurement of Works.
- Bid validity date is 90 (Ninety) days.
- Bid must be accompanied by bid security of ETB 400,000.00 (Eighty Thousand Birr) in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee, CPO (Certified Payment Order) and shall remain Valid for 120 (One Hundred Twenty) days.
- A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 800.00 (Eighty Hundred Birr).
- Bids must stay for 30 calendar days starting from announcement and delivered to the address stated below on 31th days or before 8:00 afternoon local time.
The bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or representatives of bidders who choose to attend at 8:30 afternoon local time on the same date of closing at South Ethiopia Region Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau. If the day is holiday the bid will be opened in the next day at the same time.
- Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
- Site visit from South Omo Zone Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Department or Hammer Woreda Irrigation and Lowland Area Development office. Whenever these things aren't attached then will cause point of rejection.
- Late bids will be rejected.
- Bidders with poor efficiency less than 70% progress of constructions in hand in the bureau or the region and having been black listed in the country for none performing and termination of a project cannot compete for the bid. (Whenever recognized will automatically be rejected)
- The South Ethiopia Region Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
