Invitation for National Competitive Bid

1. 1. Ethio-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway Share Company (EDR) would like to invite interested and qualified bidders for the procurement of cleaning works, Different Insurance coverage's, Oxygen and acetylene Refilling and Equipment & Tools, for Garage with the open tendering procedures
   2. EDR invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of goods & Service mentioned below.

The bid security must be in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) or an unconditional bank guarantee in the Name of "Ethio-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway Share Company", placed in a separate envelope and enclosed within the original technical proposal of the bid document envelope It must remain valid for at least a minimum of 90 days.
   4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national competitive tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and EDR procurement Directives and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries
   5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from EDR and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 10(a) from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
   6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below at 10 (a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee (a) Cleaning works and Oxygen and acetylene Refilling 1,000 Birr for each bid (b) Different Insurance Coverage's and Equipment & Tools, for Garage 1,500 Birr for each bid. The method of payment will be in cash.
   7. Bid must be delivered to the Address below at 10(b) on or before Monday 2:00 PM on July 21, 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank guarantee from recognized Bank and/or counter guarantee from the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10 (b) Monday at 2: 30PM on July 21, 2025.
   8. The winner supplier shall present a 10% performance bond in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee in ETB.
   9. All suppliers should adhere to the rules and regulations stated in the bid documents, otherwise would not be considered for evaluation.
   10. (a) Documents will be issued at Ethio-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway Share Company EDR, Furi Lebu Railwa Station, office Building, Procurement and Property Management Department, Office No.102

(b) Bid must be delivered to, and will be opened Ethio-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway Share Coppany EDR, Furi Lebu Railway Station, OCC office Building, Ground Floor, and Meeting Room.
