INVITATION TO BID

To: All constructs of category GC-2/BC-2 and above with renewed license valid for the year 2018 E.C    

1. Maya City Finance Office invites registered Contractors of Category GC-2/ RC-2 and above with their professional and trade license valid for the year 2018 E.C., registered for VAT and having tax clearance certificate and any relevant professional practice certificate and its trading license to submit sealed bids For Construction of Corridor for Maya City 5.76km
2. Evidence of/Being Registered at Ethiopian Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA) Supplier list.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Maya City finance office.
5. The bidders shall submit one mother envelop wax sealed bidding document this shall be produced in different wax sealed envelopes and shall be signed stamped and clearly labeled as Original and copy-1 and copy-2 financial and technical document failure to do so would entail rejection of the bid.
6. The financial document shall be submitted to the Maya City Finance Office before deadline for bid submission Late bid shall be automatically rejected.
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 2,000 (Two thousand birr only) at working hours. The method of payment will be cash.
8. The Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of either CPO or in cash Ethiopian 500,000 (five hundred thousand birr only) at the address below. Late bids shall be rejected.
9. The deadline for bid submission shall be at 2:00 PM on the 21th date starting from the 1st announcement made on the Newspaper.
10. The Technical Document will be opened on the same date of bid submission at 2:30 pm in the presence of bidders/legal representatives who choose to attend.
11. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend, on the submission date & time, at the address below.
12. The Maya City Administration reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
