humedica e. V. Ethiopia. a humanitarian organization engaged in emergency response. health. WASH. and development interventions. hereby invites all eligible and competent construction firms based in Tigray Region to participate in the tender for the execution of the following construction and maintenance works in Abi Adi, Tigray Region
- Description of Works
- Installation of Three (3) Water Tankers
- Each tanker has a 10,000 m³ capacity.
- Includes civil and masonry construction works (foundations. platforms structural supports, and fittings) in accordance with humedica's Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and technical specifications.
- Construction of Four (4) Laundry Facilities and Cloth Racks
- To be constructed in Abi Adi IDP sites.
- Includes site preparation, masonry, roofing, plumbing, finishing, and painting works.
- Desludging of accumulated Latrine and Septic Tank Wastes, and Rehabilitation of Toilets
- Includes emptying, cleaning, repairing, and rehabilitating existing sanitation facilities in Abi Adi.
- The contractor shall provide all required equipment. manpower, and safety measures for hygienic waste management.
- Construction of Four (4) CIS Emergency Shower Blocks
Construction to be completed according to humedica's approved BoQ and drawings.
- Project Location
All works will be carried out in Abi Adi, Tigray Region, Ethiopia.
- Eligibility and Qualification Criteria
Interested bidders must fulfill the following requirements and provide supporting documents:

- Legal Documents
- Renewed Trade License for the current fiscal year (2017 E.C
- Valid Professional Construction License of category BC/GC-7 or above
- Valid VAT registration certificate
- TIN Certificate
- Business registration certificate
- Recent tax clearance certificate issued by the Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority
- Technical Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in similar construction or WASH-related projects
- Availability of qualified key personnel (site engineer. foreman, plumber, mason, etc.)
- Evidence of ownership or lease of essential equipment and tools
- Capacity to complete the work within the specified timeframe and quality standards
- Willingness to conduct site visits prior to bid submission
- Financial Capacity
- Evidence of financial capability such as recent audited financial statement or bank statement
- Ability to provide bid security or performance guarantee (as stated in the bid document)
- Collection of Tender Documents
- Tender documents can be collected from:
- humedica e. V. Ethiopia - Tigray Field Office, Abi Adi
- Collection period: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Documents will be available from the date of this announcement.
- Submission of Bids
- Bidders must submit their sealed and signed bids in hard copy. clearly marked with the
- Tender Reference Number.
- Bids should be submitted to humedica e. V. Ethiopia-Tigray Field Office no later than 10 (ten) consecutive calendar days from the date of announcement.
- All bidders should submit 20.000(Twenty Thousand ETB) CPO by the name of humedica to participate in the tender.
- Late submissions will not be considered.
- Bid Opening
The bid opening will be held at humedica e. V. Ethiopia - Tigray Field Office. Abi Adi on the next working day after the submission deadline. in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives,
