The Benishangul-Gumuz regional state Water and Energy bureau invites all national competitive bidders (NCB) from eligible and qualified contractors of category WC/GC 5 and above for lot-1 and Lot-2 and also for Lot-3 it needs legal Licenses for Supply with their renewed trade license for the year 2017/2018 E.C, registration certificate, Tax Identification & VAT Registration Certificates, certificate of competence, contractors registration certificate and currently tax clearance and All bidders must fill, sign & seal the bid submission form for the Construction of Womba kebele and Mutsa-shawura kebeles Water Utilities Administration office at Bambasi worda Bambasi town; construction of 4 seat dry pit latrine and water supply system including construction of water point and elevated roto sit stand at Oura worda Aquda & Homosha worda kibur-50 primary schools and Supply of Afferadave Hand Pump with Pipes and fittings Spar parts at Water and Energy Bureau Compounds in assosa zone of Benishangul Gumuz Region.

Bidders can bid for lots as follows

1. An interested bidder can purchase a complete set of bidding documents in English from the day that the advertisement appears in the Ethiopia Herald newspaper at the Ministry of Water & Energy compound Addis Ababa during normal working hours upon payment of a non-returnable fee of Ethiopia Birr 3000.00/Three thousand birr only /for Lot-1 and 5000.00/Five thousand birr only/ for lot-2 and also 2000/ Two thousand birr only for Lot-3, the method of payment will be in cash.
2. The eligible bidders are expected to go through the bidding document and submit originals and copies of their technical and financial proposals as well as bid security in separate wax-sealed envelopes addressed to Benishangul Gumuz Region Water and Energy Resources Development Bureau, the place of the closed bid is at Ministry of Water and Energy Addis Ababa, on or before 2:00 PM on or before 21st calendar days from the last advertisement date notice on the Ethiopian Herald and bids shall be opened at 2:30 PM at the Ministry of Water, and Energy compound on the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. If the 21st Calendar Day is a holiday, it will be on the next working day.
3. Bidding will be conducted by the opening tender procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty (60) days and Bid Security shall be Valid for 90 Days after Bid opening. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable (CPO or bank guarantee) form amounting for lot one, 200,000 Birr (Two hundred thousand Birr), And for Lot two and Lot-Three 300,000 Birr (Three hundred thousand Birr).
5. Bidders should provide qualification requirements which include:
   1. The Bidder shall furnish a financial statement of the firm for the last three years to Conform financial turnover of at least equal to the bid price if it is an experienced firm, (ii) Necessarily supplying goods and works limited to experienced firms also we will consider the three years' experience on construction work.
6. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Water and Energy Resources Development Bureau reserve the right to reject all or part of the bid.
7. A Bidder shall purchase all lots and should return and biding for only one lot. However, if the bidder has summited more than one lot, they will be disqualified.
