1. Background
Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a national non-governmental organization committed improving the wellbeing of vulnerable communities through integrated development and humanitarian interventions. To strengthen its operations under the EHF-funded project "Addressing Malnutrition and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Crisis-Affected Wored as of Afar Regional State," DEC seeks to procure and supply high-quality furniture for health centers and women and girls' safe spaces in Afar.
Invitation:
DEC invites all qualified and interested suppliers to participate in the bid for the supply, delivery, and installation of furniture. Items to be procured include:
§ Waiting benches for mini halls
§ Office tables with lockable drawers
§ Small tables for group discussions
§ Guest chairs for meetings
§ Metal shelves for secure document storage
§ Whiteboards for training and coordination sessions
All items must meet technical specifications as mentioned on the detailed TOR, be durable, suitable for hot condition, and ready for immediate use.
