1. The Oromia Bureau of Agriculture has received a budget from the Ethiopian Food System Resilience Program financed by the World Bank (IDA) toward the cost of the Construction of Fiche Chicken Multiplication & Rearing Center and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for the construction of Fiche Chicken Multiplication & Rearing Center Project located at North Showa Zone, Fiche Town, Oromia Region.
2. The Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of Category of GC/BC Grade 5 and above for the provision of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of Chicken Multiplication & Rearing Center.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures of Single-Stage, Two-Envelope system. Ensure your package is prepared as follows: Technical Envelope: 1 Original +2 Copies, Financial Envelop: 1 Original+2 Copies (Sealed) and Bid Security included separately and all the above must be placed into single, wax-sealed outer envelope. To be eligible, bidders must submit:
· Valid Trade License for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year.
· VAT Registration Certificate.
· Tax Clearance Certificate valid at the time of bid submission.
· Relevant Professional Competency Certificate from the Ministry/Bureau of Construction.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 2,000.00 (Two Thousand Birr). The method of payment will be by deposit the fee into the Oromia Bureau of Agriculture CBE Account No. 1000007342105 and then Collect the SBD from the FSRP Management Unit (8th Floor).
5. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand) in the form of an unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO, valid for 90 days beyond the bid submission date.
6. Submission and Opening: Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before February 10, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. and the Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' 012026 representatives who choose to attend at the same date on February 10, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. Late bid will be rejected.
7. Employer Rights: The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
