NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)

Construction and renovation works of Ambo CSC & Woliso CSC Procurement Reference Number: EEU/AR/NCB 008/2018

The Ethiopian Electric Utility Ambo Region invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders that have Relevant Category GC-5 Grade or BC - 4 Grade Licenses valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year, (EFY, 2018), Trade License valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY, 2018), VAT Registration Certificate, TIN Certificate, valid Tax Clearance Certificate and with Registration in the Suppliers List of Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPA), for the construction and renovation works of Ambo & Woliso CSC..

1.       Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the OPEN Bid Tendering Procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia.

2.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and clarification in the following address: EEU Ambo region, on previous Hayome college building, supply chain and general property service on second floor office number 14

3.       A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders from the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1000.00 (One Thousand Birr) for each bid from the first date of this announcement on the newspaper. The method of payment for purchasing the bid document will be by paying the above amount on Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) Ambo Region Account no (1000254843017 EEU Ambo District Connection Fee) held at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.

4.       Bid proposals should be submitted to EEU Ambo region, supply chain and general property service on second floor office number 14 before February 26, 2026 at 8:00 PM (local time). Late bids shall be rejected and will be returned unopened to the Bidder.

5.       All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security, as specified above in the table. The Bid Security shall be ONLY in the form of CPO in the name of «ETHIOPIAN ELECTRIC UTILITY AMBO REGION».

6.       Bidders shall submit one original and two copies for both technical and financial offer. Both Technical and financial proposal will be sealed in such a way that one original and the two copies are sealed separately by labeling them as ORIGINAL, COPY 1, COPY2 and then sealed in one envelope labeled as TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL offer respectively. Finally, both offers are sealed by a single mother envelope.

7.       Bids will be closed and opened in the above date & time in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.

8.       The Ethiopian Electric utility reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
